Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no ads, and we don't sell anything about you. Here's exactly what happens to your information.

Counting visits

We count visits with GoatCounter, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It records which page was viewed, where the visit came from, and the type of browser and screen, so we can see what's useful. It doesn't keep your IP address.

Planning a trip

When you plan a trip, the team, fixture, starting point, dates and group size are sent to our server to work out trains, hotels and pubs. We don't store them. Your browser remembers your last team, starting point and group size on your own device, so you don't have to type them again.

"Use my location"

Only if you tap it, and your browser asks you first. Your location is used once to find your nearest station and isn't stored.

Chatting with Mazza

Mazza is powered by Claude, an AI from Anthropic. When you send Mazza a message, it goes to Anthropic along with the trip on your screen so Mazza can reply. We don't keep your chats on our servers: the conversation stays in your browser tab until you close it or start a new chat. Anthropic handles the messages under its commercial terms. Please don't put personal details, like your full name or phone number, into the chat.

Who else is involved

Links to National Rail, Booking.com, Skyscanner, Google Maps and other sites take you to those companies, and their own privacy policies apply there.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you (normally nothing beyond a contact message), ask us to delete it, or complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Get in touch

Questions, ideas, or a ground we've got wrong? Send us a message. We keep it only as long as we need to reply.
